After completing a postgraduate degree in Visual Arts from Victorian College of the Arts, Annie Erez has dedicated herself to developing a distinctive visual language rooted in gestural abstraction. Her artistic vision draws inspiration from the shapes, lines and compositions found in nature. From dramatic gorge walls and colossal boulders surrounding waterholes to the extreme bend of a trees limb, or the impossibly beautiful cluster of a sprouting plant, the leaves imperfectly perfect in the shape and groupings.
